Coming soon.

Salut Docker Image
Coming soon. Headless daemon and integration-test image first; CUDA inference later.
What’s Included¶
Every installation of Salut includes:
Inference engine — hardware-accelerated local inference through MLX on supported platforms
Control plane — OpenAI-compatible API server on local port 7258
Peer transport — authenticated TLS listener on peer port 17258 by default
Peer discovery — automatic mDNS/Bonjour discovery on your local network
Trust management — Ed25519 identity and mutual pairing
Distributed inference — automatic model sharding across peers
After Installing¶
Launch Salut — on macOS, a waving hand icon appears in your menu bar.
Your machine is assigned a unique identity and starts discovering peers.
Open Settings to configure your preferences.
See the Getting Started guide for next steps.
Updating¶
When a new version is available, download and replace the app. Your settings, identity, and peer trust database are preserved — they’re stored separately from the app itself.
